Walter Nußbaum was Cantor in Heidelberg until 1992 and, after that, professor of choral direction and conducting at the Hanover University of Music until 2015 . With SCHOLA HEIDELBERG, which he founded in 1992, he has premiered numerous works of new vocal music and new music theater at international festivals, in premiere recordings, and in reference recordings that have received numerous awards, often in programmatic juxtaposition with early vocal polyphony and music of the
Renaissance.
