Born in Tyrol, the narrator Michael Rotschopf received training in acting at the Max Reinhardt Seminar and was active for many years in the ensemble of the Burgtheater in Vienna.

He has appeared on stage at the Schauspiel Frankfurt and the Salzburg Festival, among others, working with all the leading theater directors (including in Peter Stein’s production of Faust). Moreover, he has appeared in numerous television, radio drama, and audiobook productions and has been awarded the Grimme Prize.
