David Fung, Piano

Described as “stylish and articulate” in the New York Times and having “superstar qualities” by Le Libre, pianist David Fung has appeared with the world’s premier ensembles including the Cleveland Orchestra, Israel Philharmonic, National Orchestra of Belgium, Tampere Philharmonic, and the major orchestras in Australia, including the Melbourne, Queensland, and Sydney Symphony Orchestras. A frequent guest artist of festivals and concert venues throughout the world, he has performed at the Aspen, Edinburgh, Hong Kong, and Ravinia Festivals, and at Carnegie Hall, the Lincoln Center, the Walt Disney Concert Hall, Davies Symphony Hall, Wigmore Hall, the Queen’s Hall, the Louvre, Belgium’s La Monnaie and the Palais des Beaux-Arts, the Zürich Tonhalle, the Sydney Opera House, the Beijing Concert Hall, the Tianjin Grand Theater, the Shanghai Oriental Art Center, Hong Kong City Hall, the National Concert Hall of Taiwan, and Israel’s Heichal Hatarbut and Opera House. David Fung garnered international attention as a multiple prizewinner of the Queen Elisabeth International Music Competition in Brussels and the Arthur Rubinstein Piano International Masters Competition in Tel Aviv. He is the first piano graduate of the Colburn Conservatory in Los Angeles and is a Steinway Artist.
