Christoph Croisé, Cello

Swiss cellist Christoph Croisé (born 1993) gave his debut at New York’s Carnegie Hall at the age of 17. He has appeared as a soloist with renowned orchestras and at such celebrated concert halls as the Tonhalle Zurich, Vienna Konzerthaus, Munich Residenz, Harbin Opera House, and St. Petersburg Philharmonia.

He was awarded the Gold Medal with distinction at the First Berliner International Music Competition in 2017. Croisé is the first prizewinner of the 2016 Schoenfeld International String Competition in Harbin, China, 2016 Manhattan International Music Competition, 2016 Salieri-Zinetti International Chamber Music Competition, and 2015 International Johannes Brahms Competition in Austria, and won the international Ibla Grand Prize in Sicily in 2010.

Christoph Croisé was the recipient of a student award from Migros Kulturprozent and was honored with the Swiss Ambassador’s Award UK in 2017.
