Lucie Bartholomäi began her musical training at the age of 5. At an early age she was admitted to the gifted class of the Free State of Saxony and was admitted to the Hochschule für Musik und Theater "Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy" in Leipzig. Already since the age of 11 she has studying with Prof. Friedemann Wezel, with whom she is currently completing her bachelor's degree. In addition to master classes at the Kronberg Academy and the Austrian Masterclasses, she received further artistic impulses from from David Watkin, Jack Liebeck, Linus Roth, Stefan Hempel, Veronika Eberle, Tobias Feldmann, Ingolf Turban and Boris Kuznetsov. She holds a scholarship of the International Music Academy in Liechtenstein and participates in the training weeks there.

As a soloist she has already performed at the age of 10 with the Vogtland Philharmonie Plauen and with the Erzgebirgische Philharmonie Aue. With the latter she performed the the violin concerto by Erich Wolfgang Korngold in February 2020, which was a great success and highly praised by press and audience. Her artistic versatility is also reflected in
invitations to festivals, such as the Leipzig Bach Festival and the festival for the "Gebrüder-Graun-Preis".

In addition to her chamber music and solo activities, she has won numerous prizes.
Among others, she received several 1st prizes at the state and national level at the
competition "Jugend musiziert" as well as in 2019 the special prize for outstanding musical performance from the Saxon State Ministry for Science and Art. Most recently she won the 1st prize at the international music competition "Grand Prize Virtuoso" in Vienna. Lucie Bartholomäi is supported as a scholarship holder by the Sächsische Mozart-Gesellschaft e.V. and by the
Handel-Mozart-Youth Scholarship of the city of Halle/Salzburg. In 2016 she became the
youngest ambassador of the Erzgebirge.

As a prize winner of the 29th competition of the German Musical Instrument Fund, in February 2022 the German Foundation for Musical Life has provided her with a violin by Haiko Seifert, Plauen 2018. She also plays an instrument made especially for her by Jürgen Manthey, Leipzig 2016.

On May 07, 2021 her debut CD "female" was released by GENUIN, featuring works by Clara Schumann, Louise Farrenc, Amy Beach and Rebecca Clarke. The CD was highly acclaimed by the critics and
and was nominated for OPUS KLASSIK 2022 in three categories.
