Amaryllis Quartet Awarded the ECHO Klassik for the Chamber Music Recording of the Year

11.7.2012: The Amaryllis Quartet received the ECHO Klassik for their CD "White" with string quartets of Joseph Haydn and Anton Webern issued by GENUIN last autumn. "White" was awarded the prize of the German Phono Academy as the best recording in the category of Chamber Music Recording of the Year (strings, 17th/18th century).

The Amaryllis Quartet is on the road to success at present. One month ago, the Quartet won the highly endowed chamber music prize of the Jürgen Ponto Foundation, in 2011 they were awarded the finalist prize at the Premio Paolo Borciani in Reggio Emilia and, just four weeks later, they won first prize and the grand prize at the 6th International Chamber Music Competition in Melbourne.

GENUIN heartily congratulates the Amaryllis Quartet for winning the ECHO Klassik!
