GENUIN oversees concert recordings at the a cappella Festival

2.5.2019: The Leipzig a cappella Festival celebrates its 20th anniversary this year. As in many years before, a GENUIN sound engineer is responsible for the excellent sound of two concert recordings for Deutschlandfunk. The festival is organized by the Ensemble amarcord and is one of the most important international gatherings for the a cappella world.

Deutschlandfunk will broadcast the concerts by the Belgian ensemble Huelgas from April 27th at Leipzig's St. Peter's Church and the Norwegian Trio Medieval from May 2nd at the Evangelical Reformed Church.

Amarcord, the founders of the festival, are themselves among the leading a cappella ensembles and released a CD with GENUIN classics in 2016. Together with the horn quartet german hornsound, they can be heard on "Wald.Horn.Lied" with music for male voices and horns by Schubert, Schumann, and Goldmark.
